Our Founders: Tom & Carla Flaskerud
Pastor Tom Flaskerud is Founder and Director of the Freedom Team as well as the Tom Flaskerud Evangelistic Association. Tom has a powerful testimony of how he was an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang leader and came to Christ at 30 years of age after kidnapping his wife’s little sister, Carla. God has dramatically changed his life and blessed him with a love for people and a desire to see all come to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Tom and Carla have been married for 43 years and love sharing the message of hope and salvation found only in Jesus Christ.
Our history
Tom and Carla have been evangelists with the Freedom Team for the last 40 years and Tom also has 17 years of experience as a pastor. For the last 40 years, God has been blessing the Freedom Team’s Power Explosion Events and Prisoners of Pain.,...God's Grace video documentary. God has opened the doors for His Word to be proclaimed throughout the world. One of His doors into your heart and the hearts of others is the Freedom Team Power Explosion Experience. Thousands are responding to His Word, His love, flowing through the Freedom Team. Thousands of prisoners are committing themselves, making a decision to receive Jesus Christ.

Our mission
The Freedom Team Prisoner of Pain.,...God's Grace Events are extremely fruitful in Prisons and Correctional Institutions in the U.S., Mexico, and East Africa as inmates love the Freedom Team and tens-of-thousands have made life changing decisions for Jesus Christ through these Prison Events. The inmates come to see the action, but all the way through the Prisoners of Pain…..God’s Grace video documentary they are hearing and seeing the message of love and hope in Jesus Christ. The Team uses dynamic physical actions to illustrate scriptural principles and conclude with an invitation to receive Christ. Tom Flaskerud Evangelistic Association's Freedom Team has the experience (since 1982), the equipment, the knowledge, the professionalism, the reputation, and the desire.
