On January 31st, 2022 from 3:30am to 4:15am, Pastor Tom awakened and received a vision regarding the East Africa Prisons. The vision came as a puzzle and over the next 4 nights God revealed what the vision was and how to implement it. We are excited to report that God has blessed the vision He gave and He planted 40 Prison Cell Churches in the first 70 days of implementing the vision with each cell church consisting of 100 prisoners. God has miraculously arranged the people and details to start Prison Cell Churches inside the East Africa Prison #1. In the first 70 days of implementing the vision over 4,000 men and women, with approximately 94% being new believers, attending 40 prison cell churches with more being added each week. The Prison Cell Churches meet twice-a-day for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening.
Evangelist Joshua Reports: "I was able to attend a few sessions with the prison warden, and this will be very effective and will greatly impact the lives of the inmates, growing stronger and stronger spiritually as we already noticed. Each Prison Church has a leader (the cell leader may not necessarily act as it's pastor but someone to keep order and more spiritually mature, everyone is encouraged to participate in the service but keeping the order). We are closely in touch with the leaders to help them keep our order of service. The service involves deep prayer, praising and singing and worshiping God, there is also time given for the testimonies, and ministration of the Word. Sometimes the testimonies are almost like a preaching, each stands up and gives an encouraging testimony and expressing his/her joy in the new walk of salvation, and this takes longer time because everyone wants to express the joy that they have in the Lord."
We are now in 10 prisons and based on the rapid and miraculous growth we are experiencing we believe this ‘Movement of God’ will continue throughout many more prisons of East Africa. We also believe that God will use the Prison #1 Cell Churches as a model for the other prisons and He will open the doors over the next few months.
TFEA has committed to purchasing and providing the necessary sound equipment systems for these additional prison cell churches as they develop.
TFEA has supplied the Prison #1 Cell Churches with 16 Sound Systems for the cell churches to use and the prison provides a room where they are kept secure and charge the batteries until church times. As you can see in the picture, the prison warden is very happy and excited with the development of these prison churches and the WAY the prisoner’s lives are being transformed.
