WAY house churches
How it began
Our first WAY House Church was started by a former prisoner and Muslim, Shabban who recived Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a Freedom Team "Prisons of Pain....God's Grace" event in a Kakiika Prison. He began attending one of the Prison Cell Churches and in time became the leader of one of the Prison Cell Churches.
Shabban was expecting to serve 20 years in prison but was released after 18 years. He contacted our our evangelist Bryan and told him he wanted to return to prison because he couldn't find any church outside the prison where the "Spirit of Revival" was moving.
Bryan contacted Pastor Tom and this is where the vision began.
What it looks like
As we began praying God was opening doors to begin the WAY House Churches. Using the model of the early church in Acts we started the first church in Shabban's Grandmas home.
We now have 158 WAY House Churches that are being lead former inmates.
