    This is the true story of a powerful 'Movement of  God's Grace' that impacted the lives of over 2,600 prisoners throughout 12 Federal Prisons in El Salvador. A country torn apart with 20 years of Civil war and gang violence. A prison system overwhelmed by violent gang member. An ongoing war between the police and the gang members. The responding prisoners include many members of the 18th Street and MS gangs.  Prisoners of Pain ….. God's Grace was filmed on location at the invitation of the El Salvador Government. The Tom Flaskerud Evangelistic Association and The Freedom Team took the message of forgiveness, hope, and salvation found only in Jesus Christ, The Team was given unparalleled access to film in the prisons and federal buildings of El Salvador as well as interviews with the prisoners, prison officials, and government leaders.  This is the story of the Love of Jesus Christ and how it transforms those that encounter it. We know without a doubt that those that view this film will either be moved to share this Love or accept this Love for the first time.

    Our Evangelists show the Prisoners of Pain…..God’s Grace video documentary in prisons and rehabilitation centers throughout the U.S.A., Mexico, and East Africa. Tens-of-thousands of prisoners in the last few years have identified with the video documentary and received Jesus Christ into their lives. 

    The Lord has placed an anointing on the video documentary which is evident about halfway through the 60-minute video as the presence of the Holy Spirit drops into the room and begins to soften the hearts of the prisoners watching. There is usually a hush that begins to fall over the prisoners and often times we hear the muffled crying of prisoners as we feel the presence of the Lord working. Sometimes we hear weeping as tears begin falling down their faces and we get goose bumps as we feel the grace of the Lord moving over the lives of those present. At the conclusion of the video, we hear the voices of many prisoners repeating the prayer of salvation and asking God to forgive their sins and come into their lives. Those responding to the invitations are given a Freedom Team decision card to register their Profession of Faith in Christ.  The prisoners are eager to register their Profession of Faith in Christ on the decision cards with some writing their prayer requests on the back of the decision cards. After filling out the card they are given follow up Gospel materials and New Testament Bibles. When the prisoners receive their follow-up Gospel materials and New Testament Bibles many are seen beginning to read them immediately.
